The Practice · for transport-tech vendors

Your product deserves better bids.

Ticketing, RTPI, MaaS, EV infrastructure, DRT. The contracts are won on evaluation criteria, not feature lists. We read the tender the way the scorer will.

Quick answer

The Practice helps transport-technology vendors win public contracts. The first engagement is Win Strategy: a fixed-scope read of one live tender covering where you stand, the win themes to bid on, the authority's procurement mechanics, and a clear go or no-go. NDA first, strict segregation, and we never advise both sides of one competition.

What we see

Where the time and money go.

  • Great product, grey bids

The demo wins the room and the submission reads like everyone else's. Generic AI makes that worse: it converges every bidder toward the same middle.

  • The buyer thinks differently

Authorities buy against criteria, weightings and social value, not roadmaps. Bids that mirror the evaluation model score points the product alone cannot.

  • Pursuit costs are real money

Every bid consumes senior people. A structured go or no-go, before the spend, is the cheapest win-rate improvement there is.

Straight answers

Asked before, answered honestly.

You advise authorities too. How is that safe for us?
Because the rules are published and hard: we never advise both sides of the same competition, information barriers separate every engagement, and client data is never used to train shared models. If your competition is one we are assuring, we decline your engagement, and the other way round.
We know our product. What do you add to our bids?
The evaluator's side of the table. Product teams write about features; scorers award points for evidence against criteria. Win Strategy reads the tender the way it will be scored: where you stand, which themes win it, what the authority's mechanics reward, and whether to bid at all.
Can we use the Brain ourselves instead?
Yes. The Brain is our bid intelligence platform, and transport-tech vendors are one of its three core audiences: your own AI trained on your bids and your market, with published pricing. The Practice is for when you want senior judgement on a specific live pursuit as well.
